A Moment In Time


This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP
It was written using PSP 8 but can be done in other versions

Supplies:
Image and Tube of Choice
*This uses the gorgeous artwork of Zindy S.D. Nielsen. You must have a license to use the same art.*

A Moment In Time Scrapkit
*This is a fantastic kit by Dark Yarrow. You can find ALL of her gorgeous kits at Digital Chaos*

EI_Template54_pooker
*This is a great template by Elegant Inspirations. Please visit her blog to download this and all her other goodies. Leave her some love if you download*

WSL_Mask330 (or mask of choice)
*The mask I used is from WeeScotLass Creations. Please visit her blog if you wish to use the same mask*

Lets Get Started:
1). Open up all your supplies
Shift +D to duplicate your template
Close the original
Delete the copyright layer on your template

2). Make Raster 1 active
Copy and paste your paper of choice as a new layer
Layers
New Mask Layer
Choose your mask from the drop down menu
Source Luminance Checked
Invert Data unchecked

3). Make your GreyRect layer active
Select All
Float
Defloat
Copy and paste your paper as a new layer
Invert
Delete
Select None
*Do these same steps for all of your shapes layers except your LtPinkSquare layer*

4). Make your LtPinkSquare layer active
Select All
Float
Defloat
Copy and paste your image of choice as a new layer
Invert
Delete
Select None

5). Duplicate your image
On the duplicate add:
Xero ~ Porcelin
*Use the factory settings*
Change the settings to Luminance Legacy
On your original image layer change the blend mode to Multiply or whatever looks good with your image

6). Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Duplicate
On the duplicate add:
Xero ~ Porcelin
*Use factory settings*
Change the settings to Multiply or what looks good with your tube

7). Now is the time to make the tag your own
Add any and all elements you want

8). Resize if you feel necessary

9). Add your copyright information and any license information that you need

10). Add your name
Save in your desired format

Lilac Dreams

Xero ~ Porcelin
Eye Candy 4000 ~ Gradient Glow

Lets Get Started:

1). Open all supplies in PSP
Shift + D to duplicate the template
Close the original
Delete the copyright layer off the duplicate template

2). Make the Lt Green Circles layer active
Select All
Float
Defloat
Copy and paste your paper of choice as a new layer
Invert
Delete
Select None
*Do these same steps with different papers for ALL the shape layers EXCEPT the Black Circle layer*

3). Make your Black Circle layer active
Select All
Float
Defloat
Copy and paste your image of choice as a new layer
Position
Invert
Delete
Select None

4). Duplicate your image layer
Xero ~ Porcelin
*use the factory settings*
Change the blend mode to Multiply or something that goes well with your images

5). Copy and paste your tube of choice as a new layer
Position it where you want it
Duplicate your tube
Xero ~ Porcelin
*use the factory settings*
Change the blend mode to Multiply or something that goes well with your tube*

6). Add any elements to make the tag your own

7). Resize if you feel necessary

8). Add any copyright information and all needed license information

9). Add your name
Save in your desired format

Dark Angelic Love



This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP

Supplies:
Tube of Choice
*I am using the always fantastic and beautiful artwork of Zindy S.D. Nielsen. You MUST have a license to use the same tube*

Angelic Whispers PTU
*This is a gorgeous kit by Pink Princess Scraps. You can find her kits at Digital Chaos*


Lets Get Started:
1). Open a 650*250 blank canvas

2). Copy and paste your paper of choice as a new layer

3). Copy and paste your tube of choice as a new layer
*Using your crop tool make sure you crop it back to a 650*250 canvas*
Duplicate your tube
On the duplicate layer:
Adjust
Blur
Gaussian Blur
5
Ok
Change the blend mode on your tube to something that suits it
*I used Multiply on mine*

4). Select All
Selections
Select Selections Border
Both Sides Checked
Anti-Alias Checked
Border Width 8
Copy and paste your paper of choice
Invert
Delete
Invert again
Do Not Deselect

5). Selections
Select Selections Border
Outside Only Checked
Anti-Alias Checked
Border Width 4
Add a new raster layer and flood fill with another paper of choice
Select None

6). Now is the time to add any elements to make the forum set your own
Move them below your 2 frame layers and your tube layer but above your original paper layer

7). Add the copyright information and any license information that is needed

8). Add your name
Save in your preferred format

Lets Make An Avatar:
1). Open an 150*150 blank canvas

2). Copy Merge your tag

3). Copy and paste onto your canvas
Position the portion you want to be seen in your avatar
Crop your image back to 150*150
Use the steps in Step 4 & 5 from your banner to make the border for your avatar except change the 1st setting to 6 and the second to 3 for the width

4). Add your copyright and license information

5). Save

Darker Side of Heaven

Darker Side of Heaven PTU

Lets Get Started:

1). Open 650*550 blank image
Open up 5 papers of choice from the kit

2). Draw a large circle in the middle of your canvas
Convert to raster layer
Select All
Float
Defloat
Copy and paste your paper of choice as a new layer
Invert
Delete
Select None
*Draw out shapes using my tag as a reference. Use a different paper for each shape*

3). On the smaller circle in the middle of the big circle
Select All
Float
Defloat
Copy and paste your image or tube of choice as a new layer
Invert
Delete
Select None

4). Duplicate your Image/Tube layer
Blur
Guassian Blur
5.00
Change the blend mode to something you like

5). Now is the time to make the tag your own
Add any elements you want

6). Resize if you feel necessary

7). Add the copyright information and any license information needed

8). Add your name
Save in your preferred format

Dream Angel

Lets Get Started:
1). Open all your supplies in PSP
Delete the copyright layer off of the template

2). Make Layer 11 active
Select All
Float
Defloat
Copy and paste your paper of choice (I used Paste Into Selection)
Select None
*Do these same steps for ALL the shape layers except for layer 6, changing the papers or using gradients*

3). Make Layer 6 active
Select All
Float
Defloat
Copy and paste your image as a new layer
Position
Invert
Delete
Select None

4). Duplicate your image layer
Blur
Gaussian Blur by 5
Change the blend mode to something that looks good with your image

5). Make your layer 1 active
Adjust
Hue and Saturation
Colorize
Colorize it to match your image
*Do the same steps for Layer 3*

6). Now is the time to make the tag your own
Add any elements you want

7). Resize the tag if you feel necessary

8). Add all copyright information needed and any license numbers

9). Add your name
Save in your desired format

Mask of Choice
*I am using a sparkle mask from Witchysheart made for the Creative Misfit forum. You can download this mask from the Creative Misfits Creations blog*


Lets Get Started:
1). Open all supplies in PSP
Open a 650*500 blank canvas

2). Copy and paste your paper of choice as a new layer
Layer
New Mask Layer
From Image
Source Luminence checked
Invert mask data unchecked
Press Ok
Right click on the mask layer
Delete
Ungroup layers

3). Duplicate your mask layer
Move the duplicate down and to the right slightly

4). Using your present shape tool draw a large circle
(use my tag as a guide)
Selections
Select All
Selections ~ Modify ~ Contract by 20
Add a new Raster Layer
Copy and paste your paper of choice into selections
Do Not Deselect
*This is where I added an image*
Copy and Paste your image as a new layer
Invert
Delete
Select None
*Change the blend mode to something that suits your image and the paper you chose*

5). Make your circle layer active
Select All
Copy and paste your paper of choice into the selection
Select None

6). Copy and paste your tube of choice as a new layer
*I duplicated the tube, did a gaussian blur on it and changed the blend mode*

7). Add the elements you would like on the tag...Make it your own!

8). Resize if you feel necessary

9). Add all copyright information and any applicable license number

10). Add your name
Save in your desired format

2). Make your Copy of Vector 1 layer active
Select All
Float
Defloat
Copy and paste your paper as a new layer

*Do the same steps for the Raster 2 and Raster 3 layers with different layers*

3). Make your Raster 6 layer active
Select All
Float
Defloat
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Position it where you want it

Select None
Duplicate your tube layer
Blur
Gaussian Blur 5
Change the blend mode to Multiply or whatever looks good with your tube
*Do the same steps for your Raster 4 layer*

4). Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Duplicate
Blur
Gaussian Blur 5
Change the blend mode to the best suited for your tube

5). Now is the time to make the tag your own
Add whatever elements you want. I colorized the wordart to match the wings in my tube

6). Resize if you feel its needed

7). Add the copyright information and any license information if needed

8). Add your name
Save in your desired format
